This can be through one sided-effects like Winds of Abandon, or cards that give you a benefit such as Decree of Pain, but best of all is when you create that discrepancy through card selection - skipping on artifact ramp and running Vandalblast can rocket you ahead of the table. Of course, as with your draw and ramp, youll want to keep an eye out for removal spells and board wipes that align with your primary strategy

Note: This feature can kinda be used as a way to upload alters to "real" cards, but we're interested in building a much better system for that that won't require you to create a custom card for your image
